Do I Need To Add Extra Protein?

If you’re working out during your cleanse then we suggest adding additional drinks, including adding shakes with protein.   Your body will thank you for the increased protein and energy.

Can I Smoke And/Or Drink Alcohol While On The Wash?

Avoid all toxins while juicing -- especially cigarettes and alcohol.

Can I Do A Juice Cleanse For More Than One Day?

Yes. The Cleanse is designed as one full day of juicing, however, most clients commit to 3 day increments.  The duration is purely a personal choice. Regardless of the duration, we highly suggest scheduling Cleanse on a day or days in which you will have time (even a little bit!) to relax and let your body do the work.

How Will The Cleanse Make Me Feel Afterwards?

Okay, don’t freak out, but you are probably going to feel great! - Maybe more alive and energized than you have felt in a long time. But it’s always important to listen to your body. Cleansing is different for everyone and your body will tell you what is and isn’t working. There is no “one cleanse fits all.” During the cleanse, stay hydrated with purified water and enjoy herbal tea. Feel free to add additional juices or fruits and veggies as you see fit. The Cleanse can be pure (no solid foods) or you can eat healthy salads to complement your nutrition. Always listen to your body and follow your physicians instructions.

How Often Can I Do A Juice Cleanse?

Totally up to you dude. You should decide what is best for you. Some of our fans cleanse every month, others every 3 months.

Why Cleanse?

Cleansing is good for your body for many reasons. First, it gives your digestive system a chance to rest and recharge. Our air, water, food, and cosmetics can contain substances that are harmful. Replacing regular meals with cold-pressed juices and whole foods floods your body with healthful vitamins and nutrients, allowing it to release toxins. As Alejandro Junger, M.D. explains, “Humans have always instinctually known that a regular period of resting and recharging the body will let it shed the accumulated toxins and waste materials that tend to build up in all of us simply from living.” Cleansers report feeling refreshed with greater energy, mental clarity, and an overall sense of “feeling better.” Some report modest weight loss and glowing skin. Finally, cleansing also reinvigorates your taste buds. By removing chemicals, pesticides, and processed food from your diet, your taste buds will fully taste what you’re eating.

Doesn’t Our Body Cleanse Naturally? So Why Would I Need To Cleanse When The Body Does It Every Day?

Yes, every day your lungs, liver, blood, and colon are working hard to keep you clean. Unfortunately, with our modern diet, increased stress, and environmental pollution, we are absorbing an ever increasing amount of toxins. Over time these excess toxins get stored in our tissues and cells. Embarking on a cleansing program for a period of time gives us the chance to play catch-up. The break from digestion allows for more energy to be spent on repairing the body.

Can I Exercise While Cleansing?

Yes, we recommend low- or no-impact activities like yoga, walking, swimming, stretching and breathing exercises. An easy walk or light jumping on a trampoline will gently encourage lymphatic circulation; a sweaty workout will push toxins out more quickly.
