Get Into the Fall Spirit With These Juices

Ah, fall. Arguably the best season of the year, as it comes with cool breezes, brightly colored leaves, cozy sweaters, bonfires, and all kinds of delicious food. Although it does not officially begin until September 23rd, over at VJC, fall is in full swing.  Yes, it still blazing hot here in Winston Salem, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting into the fall spirit! We’ve got a wide variety of juices that you’ll surely ~fall~ in love with. Eating (or sipping on) seasonal foods is a great should get you excited for the coming season! But how do I get started my fall fix at VJC?

While many of our juices, smoothies, grain bowls, and salads feature seasonal items like squash, apple, carrot, and brussel sprouts, here are three that we think are pretty much fall in a bottle.

1. Fiesty Rabbit

Keeping it simple with just three ingredients: carrot, apple, and ginger, you’ll surely be amped up for fall with this. The kick and zing of the ginger add such a great note to this vibrant, orange beverage, which combines perfectly with the crisp carrot and sweet apple. 

2. Whole farm

The name pretty much sums up this juice perfectly. Featuring carrot, apple, cucumber, orange, kale, chard, beet, and ginger, this is a bottle chock full of vitamins and minerals, straight from the farm. The seasonally appropriate root vegetables add a great freshness that you won’t want to miss! 

3. Orchard

Apple picking is a timeless, quintessential fall activity, and with this juice, you’ll be transported to a gorgeous orchard. It’s extremely refreshing, with the juice of both gala and green apples, as well as lemon, and a generous amount of ginger.

An apple a day, keeps the doctor away

  • The USDA recommends eating five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables per day. One of our juices would be a great way to get some of those servings checked off :) 

  • Apples contain a unique type of dietary fiber called pectin, which aids in digestion and gut health! 

  • While carrots are best known for helping improve eyesight, they are also great for clear skin, clean teeth and gums, and immune system support.
